Fixtures for All

There’s seldom a dull moment at the Muir of Ord Golf Club, with a packed programme of competitions – more than 100 of them scheduled in the current year between the End of Winter Open 3 Ball Stableford and Club Opening Day in March, and the Annual Prizegiving in November.

Visitors and Members are equally well catered for when it comes to competitions with fixtures for gents, ladies, seniors and juniors, and we often host teams from other clubs for local championship events and inter-club competitions.

You can make sure you keep up with the competition fixtures and prize winners on our social media, keep an eye on the Clubhouse notice board, or if you have any enquiries about competitions get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Open Competitions

We have an increasing number of visiting golfers every year, many of whom return time and again to take part in one of or more of our popular open competitions, particularly during the height of the summer season.

We have an online booking system in place, so prospective players can get in early and book and pay for a Tee-Off Slot for their chosen event. Be warned – places are usually at a premium so don’t delay.

In order to enter any of our open competitions you need to have your handicap registered with a golf club.

The season usually kicks off with the End of Winter Three Person Stableford Open at the end of March, which is open to gents (handicap limit 28), ladies and juniors (handicap limit 36). The End of Summer Three Ball Stableford Open brings the season to a close in early October.
